Privacy Policy
Last Updated: August 26, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how LTD-III Fire CORP (“Matador Fire,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information about you when you visit our website or use our services. By using our website, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect several categories of information about you:
Identifiers
Name, email address, phone number, postal address, and IP address.
Commercial Information
Records of services purchased or considered, and transaction history.
Internet or Network Activity
Browsing history on our website, pages visited, time spent on pages, and referring URLs.
Geolocation Data
General location data derived from your IP address or, with your consent, precise location to help us determine service availability in your area.
2. How We Collect Information
- Directly from you — when you fill out a contact or assessment request form, sign a service agreement, or communicate with us.
- Automatically — through cookies and tracking technologies when you browse our website (see Section 7 for cookie details).
- From third parties — advertising platforms and analytics providers may share aggregate data about visitors referred to our site.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Service fulfillment — to schedule assessments, deliver services, and manage your account.
- Communications — to respond to inquiries, send service updates, and provide renewal reminders required by California law.
- Marketing and retargeting — to show relevant advertising on platforms such as Google and Meta to visitors who have expressed interest in our services.
- Analytics — to understand how our website is used and improve our content and user experience.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the following service providers to operate our business:
- Zoho CRM / Zoho SalesIQ — customer relationship management and live chat.
- Webflow / Vercel — website hosting and delivery.
- Google Ads — advertising and conversion tracking.
- Meta (Facebook / Instagram) — advertising and retargeting pixels.
- Twilio Inc. — text message (SMS) delivery.
- Resend — delivery of our email briefings and other transactional email. Resend receives your email address and the contents of messages we send you.
- Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, and database storage for our wildfire briefing tools. Cloudflare stores the email address, property address and preferences of briefing subscribers on our behalf.
- Google Maps Platform — address geocoding, time zone and air-quality lookups. When you request a briefing, the property address you provide is sent to Google to convert it into map coordinates and to retrieve conditions for that location.
Each provider operates under their own privacy policy and data processing agreements with us.
5. Text Messaging (SMS)
Matador Fire uses text messaging (SMS) to communicate with clients and prospective clients who have provided us with a mobile phone number and agreed to receive text messages from us.
What we send. We send appointment and consultation reminders, scheduling confirmations and changes, service updates, and responses to questions you have asked us. We do not send unsolicited promotional text messages.
How you consent. You consent to receive text messages from Matador Fire when you check the SMS consent box on one of our web forms or send us a text message first. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any Matador Fire product or service.
Mobile information is never shared or sold. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties, affiliates, or lead generators for any purpose. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party except the messaging service providers that deliver our messages on our behalf, and those providers are contractually prohibited from using the information for any purpose other than delivering our messages.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us. For appointment and consultation reminders, you will generally receive one (1) to two (2) messages per scheduled appointment.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply. Matador Fire does not charge for text messages, but your mobile carrier may.
How to stop receiving messages. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. You may also reply QUIT, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, OPT OUT, or REVOKE, or simply tell us in plain language that you no longer wish to receive text messages. You may also opt out by emailing info@matadorfire.com or calling 310.426.8088. After you opt out, we will send one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and we will send no further text messages to that number unless you opt in again.

6. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights:
- Right to Know — request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
- Right to Delete — request deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Right to Non-Discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing — we do not sell personal information. If this changes, we will update this policy and provide an opt-out mechanism.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the information in Section 9 below. We will respond within 45 days.
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our website uses the following cookies and tracking technologies:
- Zoho SalesIQ — live chat functionality and visitor analytics. These cookies help us understand which pages you visited before initiating a chat.
- Google Analytics / Ads pixels — track conversions and enable retargeting advertising to visitors of our site.
- Meta Pixel — enables us to show relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram to people who have visited our website.
First-party measurement. Separately from the third-party technologies above, we measure our own emails and tools:
- Email open and click tracking. Our briefing and campaign emails contain a small tracking image, and links in them route through our own servers, so we can tell whether a message was opened and which links were followed.
- Tool analytics. Our wildfire briefing pages record page views, which steps of a signup were reached, how long a briefing took to load, and errors. Where this activity relates to an email we sent you, it is linked to your email address so we can understand how our own messages perform.
- Delivery events. Our email provider reports whether a message was delivered, bounced, opened, clicked, or reported as spam, and we record those events.
We use this information to operate and improve our own services. We do not use it for third-party advertising, and we do not sell or share it.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, provide our services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.
Analytics and tracking data. The first-party measurement data described in Section 7 — page views, signup steps, load times, errors, and email open, click and delivery events — is automatically deleted 90 days after it is recorded.
This 90-day limit does not apply to the records we need to run the service or to meet legal obligations, such as your subscription itself, your contact and property details, and the record of your text message consent.
